As well as its architecture, which was completely modernised in 2000, the theatre is also noteworthy for its varied programme. L’Éclat is a nationally-recognised arts venue for children and young people, participating in 4 festivals and staging around fifty shows every year.

The Alfred Canel Museum
A prominent elected official in Pont-Audemer in the 19th century, Alfred Canel was behind the creation of the first town library. His house now houses these old archives as well as a contemporary exhibition space.

Learning and studying in Pont-Audemer
Pont-Audemer has 7 primary schools and 1 collège (middle school). Lycée students can attend one of two institutions: The Jacques Prévert lycée offers general and technological courses (Industry and Sustainable Development, Health and social work, Management and administration) and several vocational BTS diplomas (Design and industrialisation in microtechnology & Commercial and Operational Management).
The Risle Seine lycée offers vocational training in the automobile, manufacturing, tertiary services, health and social sectors, as well as in woodwork, from CAP to Bac Pro level. It also offers two BTS diplomas: systems maintenance and insurance. The school also houses an Institute for Training in the Care Profession (IFAS) and a GRETA for CPD.
