I see Normandy is a massive ball of positive energy.

Let me introduce myself…

I’m an Italian journalist and writer with a love for Normandy. My Normandy adventure began by pure chance in 2015: I was living in Rome but I’d always loved French culture, music, cinema and the language. One day, I decided to make my dream to buy a house in France a reality. During my property search, I saw a photo of a little house in Putanges-le-Lac in Suisse Normande online. It was love at first sight and I decided to visit it. It was even better in real life, so I bought it and now I’m a “Putangeoise“!

Me and Normandy

Normandy was totally new to me when I first “landed” here, but I soon realised that the region would always be a part of my life. It’s jam-packed with history, art, culture and nature; the locals couldn’t be nicer, I love its diverse landscapes, beaches, countryside, cattle, cookery and local produce. I see Normandy is a massive ball of positive energy.

My role as an ambassador

I’ve put my love and passion for Normandy into a blog, unevieennormandie.com, which I created to share my adventures, outings, thoughts and feelings. I started out writing about my local Orne then cast the net wider to cover the whole of Normandy. I draw on my photography background to capture the beauty and energy of this stunning region in pictures.
