Let’s take a look at World Calvados Day 2024, celebrating Normandy’s signature spirit around the world.
The third World Calvados Day took place on October 17th and saw Normans put Normandy in the spotlight all over the world.
What makes World Calvados Day a unique celebration?
On the third Thursday in October, Normans get together over a calvados cocktail for their first or umpteenth taste of Normandy’s signature spirit. Everywhere from New York and Sydney to Dublin, Copenhagen and Medellin, hundreds of Normandy expats joined friends and colleagues to celebrate Normandy with pride and passion over calvados cocktails.
An international celebration
The day has become a symbol of unity and togetherness for Normandy expats and enthusiasts. After-work parties, tastings, Normandy theme nights and many more events were held in bars, restaurants and iconic venues in cities all over the world, bringing everyone even closer together.
