MSc Cultural and Creative Industries

You’d like to make a career in the cultural and creative industries ? Come study arts in Rouen, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with many different professionals in the arts sector : Centre Pompidou, Musée de Rouen, Netflix and Canal+ producers, Editions du Seuil… Covering every branch of the cultural sector, from music and cinema to literature and the visual and performing arts, this Master of Science also provides an in-depth view of the economic, social and cultural issues raised by the current transformation in these industries.

Program :

• Experience-based, immersive approach : students meet and collaborate with many different professionals in the arts sector (Centre Pompidou, Musée de Rouen, Netflix and Canal+ producers, Editions du Seuil publishing house, Editions de la Découverte publishing house, Centre National du Cinéma, Believe Music, Warner, Uzik, m1croqhma, Théâtre du Relais, Normandie lmpressionisme, Grapes Design, etc.). Many of these professionals are alumni. The programme links theoretical lectures focused on the arts with lectures by highly qualified professionals and incorporates an original pedagogy using new technologies, teamwork and creativity.
• Professional experience (4 to 6 months) : this is an essentiel opportunity for applying the theoretical and practical skills learned during the first two semesters in a professional environment. Students are free to do their internship in France or abroad, subject to approval by the internship director and based on its relevance to the MSc programme and course content.
• Adapted programme for high-level athletes and artists : High-level athletes and artists may benefit from an adapted programme in order to pursue both their studies and their passion.
