The twin turretted chateau is an hour from all the major ferry ports - Caen, Cherbourg and St Malo.

It is ideally placed to visit all of Normandy's top sights, including the D Day Beaches, the Bayeux tapestry and Mont St Michel. There are just six luxurious ensuite rooms in the main chateau plus a three bed, three bath cottage in the grounds. At Le Castel you can book anything from one night's B&B to a week in a self catering cottage in the grounds. The main chateau has a comfortable salon with a roaring log fire in winter, a library and a sumptuous dining room, where meals are available for 38 euro a head for four courses.

Le Castel is set in four acres of parkland with mature trees. It is heaven for kids. There is a 3.5 metre splash pool in summer months and the beach is 20 minutes away. Hiring the whole of Le Castel is a popular option for people celebrating birthdays or anniversaries. We offer a fully catered service so you don't have to lift a finger.
