Not only do we offer Bed & Breakfast, but are able to provide Guided D Day tours with Eric (registered guide), Guide Motorbike tours & Rideouts and Cookery Classes with a local Chef in his own restaurant.
All of our en-suite bedrooms have complementary toiletries, hairdryers, French TV, DVD Players (a list of French & English DVD's available free of charge to watch), tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast is taken in the dining room or in the garden, weather permitting.
Our Sumatra Room is a double room with en-suite facilities. It has views over the walled garden and old town. Perfect for a couple just wanting to relax for a few days. 60 euros per couple per night
Our White room with en-suite facilities also overlooks the garden and old town. It is suitable for a couple or single person wanting lots of room. 45 euros, single occupancy per night or 60 euros per couple per night
Our Twin room is situated to the front of the house and has a large ensuite shower room, suitable for friends who want to share. 45 euros single occupancy or 60 euros per couple per night
Our Maeve room with ensuite facilities is situated to the front of the house. It is slightly larger than our other rooms and can accommodate an extra childs bed when needed. 60 euros per night per couple or 80 euros per night with extra bed.
Useful information:
By Car we are 60 mins from Caen, Dinard Airport is 90 mins and Cherbourg port is 2 hours. For those travelling from Calais it usually takes about 4 - 4 1/2hrs.
We are also 20 mins from Flers train station which has direct trains to Paris.
Domfront is ideally located to explore most of Normandy and the surrcounding area with most historical sites only 1hr away. It also makes a great overnight stop if travelling further south or house hunting in Lower Normandie or Mayenne. We are able to offer advise and help plan your trip and point out those out of the way places only the locals know.
