Fully equipped, with the advantage of central heating to complement the wood burning stove, making it ideal for summer and winter vacations. Outbuildings have been converted for recreational use and the grounds which are enclosed, include a heated, fenced swimming pool (seasonal), sun terrace and large games room containing table tennis, snooker, bowling alley, darts, music centre and various outdoor and indoor games.There are safe playing areas in the grounds where there are swings, a wendy house, and tree house.
The orchard is available for football, golf, cricket and badminton.There is an outside dining table to accommodate 14 plus, as well as other tables and chairs, parasols and sun loungers for relaxing on the lawns in divided areas of the grounds. The old Bakehouse provides a unique, covered barbecue area. The Studio Enjoys a private decked terrace area with its own outside furniture and barbecue. We supply duvets and pillows, but should you not wish to bring sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels, these can be supplied at 5 pounds per person per week. A high chair, two cots and stairgate are available for use. Pets Welcome (Pet sitting service available) The Farmhouse Comes fully equipped. There is a spacious comfortable lounge, dining room, woodburner and full central heating ; Sky TV/video, books and games. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave and food mixer. There are two ground floor bedrooms, bathroom, shower room toilets. The first floor has three more bedrooms, three of the bedrooms en-suite. The studio is fully equipped for up to three people. It is comfortably furnished with one sofa convertible to a double bed and one single sofa/bed, Sky TV, central heating and a wood burner. It has a separate shower, toilet and washbasin with independent gas hot water boiler. It has its own separate decking area with sun loungers, umbrella, barbecue, dining table and chairs and makes an ideal hideaway. Even closer is the religious sanctuary village of Pontmain, where the apparition of the virgin Mary was sighted in 1871The ancient town of Fougeres is a mere 15min drive from the property, and offers a glimpse into the history and charm of the area. However, if you care to explore the region there are many more beauty spots and places of historic interest within easy driving distance.
