Le Clos Castel is owned by the Ramsbottom family who are originally from Lancashire. We are ideally situated for you to explore the D-Day landing sites and the beautiful area of Normandy. You can spend your days absorbing the historic sites not forgetting to find time to see the wonderful Bayeux tapestry. Or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
We are situated approximately 45 minutes from Cherbourg and 60 minutes from caen.
All our rooms are en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities and a lounge is available for guests to use.
Prices range from 50-65 Euros per night per room for two people sharing including continental breakfast. Family rooms and prices available on request. We can also offer packed lunches, snacks and evening meals on request.

How to find us:-
From Cherbourg follow the signs for Caen (N13) Continue on the N13 until you reach Carentan. At Carentan leave the N13 and follow the signs in the town centre for Periers (D971.) You will pass through a little village called Sainteny continue on the D971 until you reach the village of Raids. As you pass by the church stay on the main road we are the first turning at the gates on your right hand side. When approaching from Caen follow the signs for Cherbourg until you pick up the N13 then follow the directions as above.
