La Tringale is nestled in the tranquil Normandy countryside with 2.5 acres of secure space, child-friendly play areas, secure on-site parking, is child and pet friendly and all within easy reach of the Invasion beaches (20 mins), Mont St Michel (1 hour 20 mins), Bayeux (25 mins), St Lo (20 mins) and the limitless number of attractions for all ages and tastes in this beautiful and historic region of France.
Le Cottage (3 bedrooms), a spacious stone dwelling with character features of Oak beams, with an en-suite and family bathroom, offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation, sleeps 8 (10 max). Fully equipped inside and a patio with full furniture outside. Now with wi-fi connection.
Euphony Gite (2 bedrooms) sleeps 5 (7 max) and again is fully furnished and equipped and features Oak beams throughout. It also has its own patio with full furniture.
All self-catering accommodations are fully electrically heated and have their own patios with full furniture. In addition satellite TV (UK), video and DVD facilities are provided in self-catering accommodations as are a selection of DVD's and Videos.
The B&B accommodation consists of 3 rooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) on the 2nd floor of the main farmhouse with breakfast served in the main dining room. An optional evening meal can be provided on request.
The gardens offer loads of space with barbecues and picnic tables, childrens play areas, landscaped gardens for recreation and play/sport and a feature landscaped pond with many fish, frogs, moorhens and more as well as ample, secure parking. There is also a laundry-room available to guests.
Ron & Bunty welcome families, house-hunters, artists, groups of up to 23 maximum, ramblers, bikers, cyclists and well-behaved pets for all-activity holidays, historic visits or get-away-from-it-all vacations.
All accommodations available for weekend, long-weekend and mid-week bookings during off-peak-season months (Sept - June). All linen (bedding and towels) are provided and a cot is available on request.
Both the cottage and gite have their own electric meters and this will be read soon after arrival and again prior to departure. A bill will be calculated, including tax, and will be deducted from the security deposit. Any additional amounts for breakages/damages, or for the accommodation being left in an unclean and/or untidy condition, will also be deducted prior to the balance being refunded by post soon after your departure.
Special Christmas Package: La Tringale offers a 4-night stay in La Cottage (fully heated) for up to 8 people with a full Christmas Day Traditional Dinner (4 courses with wines/drinks, aperitifs, coffee and mints) and Boxing Day Dinner (26th) (same as Christmas day but with cold meats and mashed potatoes). Both meals served in the main farmhouse. The cost is €175 per person (13 years and under = €140). An extended stay to a full week is possible for an additional payment of €100 for the group.
PRICING: The cost of our accommodations are based in Euros. This site only accepts pricing in £'s Sterling and so are given here as a guide ONLY. The exchange-rate of the day will determine what the cost is in £'s. We accept Euros £'s and US$ by cheque or electronic transfer.
